  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme or 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 tsp fresh sage or 1 tsp dried sage
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, heat a splash of olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the onions and celery until translucent (about 5 minutes).
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, sautéed vegetables, cranberries, breadcrumbs, egg, thyme, sage, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Scoop about two tablespoons of the mixture and roll into balls. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown; optionally brush with honey or maple syrup during the last five minutes.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!
