Scale
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 pound deli ham (sliced)
  • 8 slices Swiss or cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally while keeping them connected. Place the bottom half in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Layer the sliced ham evenly over the bottom half, followed by the cheese slices.
  4. In a small bowl, mix melted butter and Dijon mustard. Brush this mixture generously over the top half of the rolls before placing it back on top.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before slicing into individual sliders.
