Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless turkey breasts
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the onion and mushrooms, and mincing the garlic.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Season turkey with salt and pepper, then sauté until golden brown (5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add onions and cook until translucent (about 3 minutes). Add mushrooms and garlic; sauté until soft.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, scraping any flavorful bits from the pan. Bring to a simmer, then stir in Worcestershire sauce and sour cream until combined.
  5. Return turkey to the skillet, mixing well to coat in sauce.
  6. Serve over egg noodles or rice with a garnish of fresh parsley if desired.
