Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup candy coating or chocolate melts
  • 12 lollipop sticks

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, oil, and water until smooth. Pour into a greased pan and bake according to package instructions until golden brown.
  2. Allow the cake to cool completely. Once cooled, crumble the cake into fine pieces in a bowl.
  3. Gradually mix in the frosting until the mixture holds together when rolled into balls.
  4. Roll the mixture into one-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined tray. Chill for about an hour.
  5. Melt the candy coating according to package instructions. Dip lollipop sticks into the coating before inserting them halfway into each chilled ball.
  6. Fully dip each ball in melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. Place back on parchment paper to set completely.
