  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil (for drizzling)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef sirloin thinly against the grain. Chop broccoli into bite-sized florets and mince the garlic.
  2. In a bowl, combine sliced beef, soy sauce, cornstarch, and brown sugar; marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add marinated beef in batches and sear until browned (about 2 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and broccoli; stir-fry for about 3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet with oyster sauce and an additional splash of soy sauce; toss to combine.
  6. Serve hot, drizzled with sesame oil over rice or noodles.
