  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
  2. 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. 3. Add broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until bright green and tender yet crunchy.
  4. 4. Combine drained pasta with the garlic and broccoli in the skillet. Toss gently, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a light sauce.
  5. 5. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the pasta and sprinkle with red pepper flakes. Mix well to distribute flavors.
  6. 6. Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
