  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 (14 oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, combine yogurt, minced garlic, grated ginger, cumin, coriander, and garam masala. Toss in the chicken until coated and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and cook the marinated chicken until browned on all sides (5-7 minutes).
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes and the remaining spices. Simmer for about 10 minutes until thickened.
  5. Add heavy cream and mix well. Simmer gently for another 5 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with cilantro if desired.
