Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup pepperoncini peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the garlic and slicing the pepperoncini.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then sauté for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth while scraping any bits from the pan. Stir in soy sauce and pepperoncini, letting it simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, allowing it to absorb flavors for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Serve warm over rice or pasta, drizzled with extra sauce if desired.
