Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz high-quality dark chocolate (minimum 60% cocoa)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter until light. Gradually add dry ingredients alternately with milk to form a soft dough.
  4. Lightly flour your surface and knead the dough gently until it comes together; roll out to about 1/2 inch thick and cut into rounds.
  5. Place rounds on the prepared sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  6. While cooling slightly, melt dark chocolate in intervals until smooth. Dip half of each biscuit in chocolate and let them set on parchment.
