Ingredients
Scale
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ tsp active dry yeast
1 ½ tsp salt
1 ¼ cups warm water (about 110°F)
2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, and salt until well mixed.
Add warm water and mix until it forms a shaggy dough.
Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm spot for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough, shape it into a round loaf, and place it on parchment paper.
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) along with the Dutch oven inside.
Carefully transfer the dough into the preheated Dutch oven (lid on) and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
