Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by mincing the garlic and measuring out all components.
  2. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper; sauté until golden brown and cooked through (6-7 minutes each side). Remove from skillet and let rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and soy sauce; bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in grated Parmesan until melted. Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken, mixing well. If too thick, gradually add reserved pasta water to achieve desired consistency.
  6. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
