  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or panko)
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, mix ground meat, green onions, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  2. Shape mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place on a greased baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil; stir until sugar dissolves.
  4. Bake meatballs for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Brush with sauce halfway through baking for added flavor.
