  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season both sides of the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add minced garlic, and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  5. Pour in heavy cream while stirring continuously. Gradually add Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth; adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Return the seared chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, then bake uncovered for about 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
