Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium sweet onion (e.g., Vidalia), sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers (mixed colors), sliced
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté onions and bell peppers until tender (about 5 minutes). Add the steak and Worcestershire sauce; season with salt and pepper. Cook until the steak is browned.
  3. Slice slider buns in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves in the baking dish and fill each with the steak mixture.
  4. Generously layer shredded provolone cheese on top of each filled bun. Bake for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Top with bun tops and brush lightly with melted butter mixed with garlic powder if desired. Serve warm.
