  • 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 8 oz lasagna noodles (broken)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or Italian sausage until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet; sauté until onions are translucent.
  3. Transfer the meat mixture to the slow cooker. Stir in crushed tomatoes, beef broth, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add broken lasagna noodles into the slow cooker and mix well.
