  • 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, parsley, Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Take a handful of the mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center and wrap the meat around it to form a ball.
  4. Arrange the meatballs on the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. While baking, heat marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Once cooked, add the meatballs to the sauce before serving.
