  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Warm milk until lukewarm. In a small bowl, combine yeast and a teaspoon of sugar; let sit until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, remaining sugar, salt, softened butter, eggs, and yeast mixture until combined.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for about five minutes until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl covered with a towel for about one hour.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter on top.
  6. Sprinkle with cinnamon, sugar, and fresh raspberries before rolling tightly into a log.
  7. Slice into twelve pieces and place in a greased baking dish; allow to rise for another twenty minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for approximately twenty-five minutes until golden brown.
  9. Drizzle with powdered sugar mixed with milk or cream before serving.
