  • 2 cups mashed potatoes (prepared with butter and cream)
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 tsp dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté diced onion and minced garlic in olive oil until fragrant (about 2 minutes).
  3. Add ground turkey, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned. Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
  4. Stir in diced carrots, peas, and chicken broth. Simmer until slightly thickened (about 5 minutes).
  5. Prepare mashed potatoes by boiling peeled potatoes until tender, then mash them with butter and cream until smooth.
  6. Spread the turkey mixture in your greased baking dish and top with mashed potatoes. Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
