  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns

  • lettuce, tomato, pickles (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to high heat (450°F / 232°C).
  2. Form ground beef into loose balls (4-6 oz each) without overworking.
  3. Place beef balls on the grill; smash down with a spatula to about half an inch thick. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Toast buns cut-side down on the grill until golden brown.
