  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (for glaze)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (for glaze)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or loaf pan.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion until translucent (about 5 minutes), then add minced garlic for an additional minute.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, eggs, sautéed onions, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared baking dish.
  5. For the glaze, mix ketchup and brown sugar in a bowl. Spread over the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for about 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
